My story as a quilter and designer encompasses over 20 years of learning and practicing. I realized as a young mother with four busy children that there are many things undone almost the moment that you complete them. As soon as the dishes were done, inevitably there was a dirty dish again. When all the laundry was folded and put away I would turn around and see dirty clothes on the floor or in the basket. As fast as I could pick up a toy my kids could dump more out.

I found myself frustrated at the thought that I could not do something and see it remain that way. I realized one night, as I was staring at a sewing project I had just finished, that these small pieces of fabric I had just put together were going to stay that way! They were not going to be piles on the table the next day waiting to be sewn back together again. I realized at that moment that I had found my “thing”. The very thing that would help me find some order and organization in a chaotic world of being a young mother.

Quilting has brought relief at the end of stressful days and has given me the ability to change my hobby and interest into my talent and my business. Over the last 20+ years, quilting has evolved for me into so much more than piecing a blanket top. Longarm quilting has given me the ability to use my creativity to make all quilts a true piece of art! I love every aspect of quilting and I would love to help you in any way I can.
